Most Orlando-area rentals run on a Schlage Encode, a Yale Assure, a Kwikset Halo or a plain Kwikset keypad, tied to a booking platform that pushes a code per stay. A guest locked out at night

The most common call from a rental is a code that stopped working at 10 pm, often because the batteries died or the booking dates did not sync. The guest should call the host or manager first, because a fresh code from the app is the fastest way back in. When nobody answers, or the lock itself is dead, the guest calls us, and the technician opens the door as soon as the owner or manager confirms the booking by text or call. That authorization is not red tape; it is what stops a stranger from talking their way into your property.

Dispatch runs 7 am to midnight. A guest who calls after midnight reaches us at 7, so hosts should keep a backup key in a lockbox and the manager's after-hours number on the fridge.
