The smart locks hosts actually use, installed and serviced
Most Orlando-area rentals run on a Schlage Encode, a Yale Assure, a Kwikset Halo or a plain Kwikset keypad, tied to a booking platform that pushes a code per stay. We install all of them on the front door, the garage entry and the pool-cage gate, set the master and cleaner codes, and make sure the mechanical key override is keyed to a key the manager holds. A door that does not latch cleanly will eat any smart lock in a year, so the technician fixes the strike and the hinges at the same visit.
When a lock dies, the batteries drain in a week, or the app shows the door unlocked when it is not, we service it rather than swap it, and tell you when swapping is the honest answer.
Turnovers, lockboxes and keys that walked off
Guest codes should change every stay. If your lock cannot do that on its own, we set it up so it can, or set a rotation you and the cleaner can follow. Lockboxes for the backup key go where the cleaner can reach them and the street cannot see them, and the code changes when the cleaner changes.
A cleaner or a contractor who leaves with a key, a past guest who kept the spare, a pool tech who was let go: each is a rekey, not a new lock. The technician rekeys every door on the property to one new key in a single visit, hands you the new keys, and the old ones stop working the moment the pins go in.
Managers with many doors in Windsor Hills, ChampionsGate, Four Corners or along the Davenport corridor get a standing arrangement: one number, one dispatcher who knows your properties, and the same rate on every call. Ask for it when you set up the first job.
A guest locked out at night
The most common call from a rental is a code that stopped working at 10 pm, often because the batteries died or the booking dates did not sync. The guest should call the host or manager first, because a fresh code from the app is the fastest way back in. When nobody answers, or the lock itself is dead, the guest calls us, and the technician opens the door as soon as the owner or manager confirms the booking by text or call. That authorization is not red tape; it is what stops a stranger from talking their way into your property.
Dispatch runs 7 am to midnight. A guest who calls after midnight reaches us at 7, so hosts should keep a backup key in a lockbox and the manager's after-hours number on the fridge.
- Guests: call the host first, then us, and have the booking confirmation handy
- Hosts: give us a text-back number so a lockout is approved in minutes
- Keep a lockbox key on the property; it solves most late lockouts without a call

What Orlando customers say
“Hussein is the best. Locked the key of a McLaren 720 in the frunk; he managed to open the door and then pop the frunk a little with some tools and grab the key. Saved absolutely everything, and it only took him 20 minutes to arrive on the scene.”
“Noah helped me get a new key fob for my 2025 Honda Civic after I lost my keys in a different state. After finding my lost keys he reprogrammed the old ones too, for free. Would recommend this mobile locksmith.”
“Noah was awesome. My key fob stopped working and he came right away. It was pouring rain and he came swiftly to replace my key. Very kind, professional and very fast. I would choose this company every single time.”

Questions we hear every day
I am a guest locked out of my Orlando vacation rental. What do I do?
Call the host or property manager first; a new code from their app usually gets you in fastest. If you cannot reach them or the lock is dead, call us, and once the owner or manager confirms your stay by text or a call back, the technician opens the door. Have your booking confirmation ready to speed that up.
Which smart lock should I use for a vacation rental in Orlando?
One that pushes a new code per booking, runs on batteries you can find at any store, and has a mechanical key override you actually keep a key for. The Schlage Encode, Yale Assure and Kwikset Halo all do that, and the technician can tell you which fits your door and your booking platform.
Do you offer a standing arrangement for property managers with many rentals?
Yes. Managers with several doors get one number, a dispatcher who knows the properties, and a standing rate agreed once and applied to every call, from a turnover rekey to a late guest lockout. We do not print the rate because it depends on how many doors you run.
A cleaner left with a key. Do I need new locks?
Almost never. A rekey changes the pins so the old key stops working and a new one opens every door, and it costs far less than replacing hardware. If the doors have keypads, the same visit resets the codes and the override key.
