A discount for Central Florida's veterans
About four hundred thousand veterans live in Central Florida, and the VA medical center at Lake Nona serves more than a hundred and thirty thousand of them. Active duty, reservists, National Guard, retirees, veterans and their dependents get a discount on every We Do Locksmith service, from a car key at the VA parking lot to rekeying a house out in Leesburg. Say so when you call and it comes off the flat quote before you agree to anything.

How it works

The discount applies to lockouts, car keys and fobs, ignitions, rekeys, lock changes, smart locks and commercial work, every day we are open, which is 7 am to midnight. It cannot be combined with other promotions, and the price quoted on the phone is still the whole price. Key copies are cut from the van at your address, or at the base on 39th Street by appointment.
Where Central Florida's veterans actually are
The Orlando VA Medical Center opened at Lake Nona in 2015 and is the only VA inpatient hospital in Central Florida, with outpatient clinics spread across the region at Kissimmee, Clermont, Deltona and Tavares. We cover all of those: Lake Nona is twenty minutes from our base, Kissimmee about the same, Clermont is a longer run, and the Deltona clinic sits next door to the area we cover as DeLand and Orange City.
The other concentration is the retirement communities out west and north. Arlington Ridge, Pennbrooke Fairways, Legacy of Leesburg and Royal Highlands around Leesburg, and the communities near Mount Dora, are full of people who served and then retired to Florida. Those are gated communities with staffed or coded entrances, so tell the dispatcher which one you are in and we clear the gate before the technician sets off.
Naval Support Activity Orlando
Orlando is a veterans' region more than a garrison town, and NSA Orlando, in Central Florida Research Park next to UCF, is the last active-duty installation left in the area. It is a simulation and training command rather than a large garrison, home to NAWCTSD, the Army's PEO STRI and the rest of what gets called Team Orlando, with a few hundred uniformed personnel and a couple of thousand civil service staff. If you work there, Union Park and UCF is the area page for your neighborhood. Base access is yours to arrange; we meet you at the gate or work at an off-base address.

Who qualifies for the military discount?
Active-duty service members, reservists and National Guard, retirees and veterans, and their spouses and dependents. Show a military ID, a VA card or a DD-214 to the technician.
Does the discount apply to emergency calls?
Yes. It applies to every service we offer, every day of the week, including lockouts and lost car keys. Mention it when you call so the dispatcher applies it to the quote before you agree to anything.
Can you come to the VA medical center at Lake Nona?
Yes. We open cars in the visitor and staff parking lots at the Lake Nona campus, and we cover the VA clinics at Kissimmee, Clermont, Deltona and Tavares the same way. Tell the dispatcher which parking lot you are in so the technician can find the vehicle.
Can you get onto Naval Support Activity Orlando?
Base access is arranged by you. Our technicians can meet you at the gate at Central Florida Research Park, or work at an address off base like any other call. Tell the dispatcher which it is when you book.
Do you make keys for vehicles with out-of-state registration?
Yes. A lot of veterans who retired to Central Florida still carry plates from another state. Bring the registration in your name and a photo ID and we cut and program the key like any other.
