We Do Locksmith

Mobile locksmith serving Sanford

Locksmith in Sanford, FL

Sanford is the northern end of what we cover from 39th Street, about 28 miles up I-4 and the 417, and it takes around 40 minutes when the interstate behaves. We would rather tell you that than promise something we cannot keep. The calls that make the trip worthwhile are airport lockouts at Orlando Sanford International, keys locked in a car after a flight, and the historic homes on the brick streets downtown whose mortise locks need a locksmith who has seen one before.

Locksmith notes for Sanford

Airport calls come from the SFB parking lots and the rental car area. Someone lands, walks to the car and the key is in a bag that went to another city. For your own car we open it and, if needed, make a new key on the spot. For a rental we open it with your ID and the rental agreement, and a new key for the rental has to be cleared by the rental company first.

The Sanford Historic District has houses more than a century old with mortise locks, glass-knob interior sets and doors that have shifted over the decades. We rekey those in place, replace worn cylinders with ones that fit the original hardware, and add a modern deadbolt only where it can be done without ruining the door.

Around Seminole Towne Center, the SunRail station and Lake Forest the housing is newer and the calls are ordinary lockouts and rekeys. Because the drive is long we confirm everything by phone first: your address, the door or vehicle, and the flat price, so the technician arrives with the right parts and nothing needs a second trip.

Reviews

From Orlando customers

  • Hussein is the best. Locked the key of a McLaren 720 in the frunk; he managed to open the door and then pop the frunk a little with some tools and grab the key. Saved absolutely everything, and it only took him 20 minutes to arrive on the scene.

  • Noah helped me get a new key fob for my 2025 Honda Civic after I lost my keys in a different state. After finding my lost keys he reprogrammed the old ones too, for free. Would recommend this mobile locksmith.

  • Noah was awesome. My key fob stopped working and he came right away. It was pouring rain and he came swiftly to replace my key. Very kind, professional and very fast. I would choose this company every single time.

Sanford questions

How long is the drive to Sanford from your base?

About 40 minutes on I-4 and the 417 from 39th Street in south Orlando. I-4 construction and afternoon storms can add to that, and the dispatcher gives you an honest window instead of a promise. The flat price does not change with the distance.

Can you meet me at Orlando Sanford Airport if I am locked out in the parking lot?

Yes. Tell the dispatcher which lot or garage level you are on. For your own car, have ID and registration or an insurance card ready. For a rental, have the rental agreement, and note that a new key for a rental car needs the rental company's authorization.

Do you work on the old mortise locks in the Sanford Historic District?

We do. Most can be rekeyed without removing the hardware, and worn cylinders can be replaced with ones that fit the original plate. If a lock is beyond repair we say so and show you options that keep the door's look.
